Jan Campbell and Colby Ringeisen!
Jan Campbell was the lucky recipient of a 3 day, 2 night stay at the Red Hen House
retreat center for her and 7 friends!
We also had a Junior grand prize this year, in an effort to get those kids sewing! With all the changes within the industry and the fun fabrics that are being produced we wanted to include our young sewers and show them really that it's not your grandmas sewing anymore!
This year Colby Ringeisen was the lucky winner of this great starter machine, a sewing kit and 20 fat quarters. He came into Country Fabrics and Quilting in Brainerd, MN to pick up his wonderful prize and was one happy little boy! He was so excited he didn't have to use moms old machine anymore, he had his very own. It was refreshing to see a young boy get excited about sewing and creating as well!
After picking out a few boy fat quarters and sitting down for a lesson on his new machine, Colby was headed home and could not wait to start sewing on his new machine! Congrats bud!
